David Ewing - President
David Ewing is the president and founder of San Francisco Consulting Group. Since founding the company in 2001, he has actively led the company to near triple digit growth every year. In addition to playing an instrumental role in client engagements, Mr. Ewing has pioneered the SFCG Revenue Seven System that has led to consistently outstanding client results from all the members of the SFCG team and the firm's partner companies.
Prior to founding San Francisco Consulting Group, Mr. Ewing was a consultant with R.B. Webber & Company - a strategy consulting firm based in Palo Alto. Mr. Ewing contributed to over 27 engagements at R.B. Webber with companies in the new materials, computer hardware, enterprise software and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining R.B Webber, he led the Continuous Improvement Engineering team at NSS Technologies -- a specialty steel components manufacturer for the automotive, mining and construction industries.
Mr. Ewing is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, the American Marketing Association, and the Rotary Club of San Francisco. He speaks routinely on the subject of marketing to businesses around the country and has been the key note speaker at several events, trade shows and venture fairs. Mr. Ewing graduated with honors from Harvard University.
Lucia Hicks-Williams - VP, Marketing Services
Lucia Hicks-Williams brings more than 25 years of experience in the business of technology to client engagements with San Francisco Consulting Group. In her role as VP, Marketing Services, Ms. Hicks-Williams engages with clients to drive successful product development, marketing and delivery initiatives.
Before her tenure with San Francisco Consulting Group, Ms. Hicks-Williams founded Get UP! Business Development Services, a San Francisco Bay Area consultancy serving technology executives in planning and executing new business initiatives. In prior positions, Lucia served as Vice President and General Manager of the Active Internet Products Division of General Magic, where she collaborated with AT&T, France Telecom, NTT and other global telecommunications carriers to pioneer leading web services portals such as AT&T’s WorldNet. Ms. Hicks-Williams previously held executive and marketing management positions with Sybase, Sun Microsystems, and 3Com Corporation.
Throughout her career, Ms. Hicks-Williams has demonstrated expertise in marketing software, hardware, and communications offerings as real products and services for real customers. Return on the expertise invested by teams she leads comes in the form of more effective marketing of more innovative products. Ms. Hicks-Williams holds a bachelors degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University.
Atsuko D'Amour - Solutions Director
Ms. D’Amour brings over twenty years of operating experience in IT, semiconductor and EDA industries, in angel investing, VC fundraising and management consulting. She has engaged with companies in the area of configurable processors and structured ASICs, network management appliances, GPS application system, carrier-class broadband communication equipment, Internet security appliances, XML/Web-service appliances.
Her operating experience includes strategic planning, business planning and forecasting, product marketing, and application engineering at Daisy Systems and Xilinx. She founded Xilinx’s Alliance program, negotiating OEM relationships, marketing and technology agreements, and managed strategic relationships.
Ms. D’Amour holds a MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from Graceland College.
Nathan Pollak - Manager, Infrastructure Development
Prior to SFCG, Mr. Pollak served the needs of a variety of clients in legal and financial analyst roles. At Morgan Stanley Chicago, Mr. Pollak held responsibilities in investment management, market segment research, and sales. Mr. Pollak headed lead generation activities for new market expansion where he achieved a 30% engagement rate with new prospects. At Robin J. Potter and Associates, a Chicago employment law-firm, Mr. Pollak managed witness research initiatives to help settle multi-million dollar class-action employee discrimination cases.
Mr. Pollak graduated Summa cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles. He holds dual degrees in Economics and Classical Civilization. He is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
As a business analyst, Mr. Edris takes an active role in engagement research, analysis, and execution.
Prior to SFCG, Mr. Edris performed research and analysis of current trends in corporate regulation and governance. He also worked with an up and coming business technology publication where he assessed the risk and reward of entering new market segments and expanding product offerings to enhance brand recognition. He also lends experience from the non-profit sector where he founded Higher Learning, a group that provides college preparation counseling.
Mr. Edris holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. He also studied at Oxford University.
Precious Eboigbe - Business Analyst
In her role as a business analyst, Ms. Eboigbe engages in the research, analysis, and execution of SFCG client projects.
Prior to joining SFCG, Ms. Eboigbe was an active participant in Harvard’s undergraduate community. She served as vice president of the Pleiades Society where she oversaw the operations of a social networking organization of over 80 members. Also, during her three years as a student coordinator for the Harvard Financial Aid Initiative, Ms. Eboigbe helped see a 22% increase in socioeconomic diversity on the undergraduate campus. At John Snow Inc., a healthcare consulting firm headquartered in Boston, Ms. Eboigbe aided the company in the deployment of its most complex project.
Ms. Eboigbe holds a B.A. in History and Science from Harvard University and was a four-year starter on the school’s NCAA Championship Fencing Team.
